The initiative, spearheaded by @Will Petillo is about creating issue-based focus groups for activities including:

• Regular video meetings (interval TBD by group) for interested members
• Form alliances with existing organizations (outside of PauseAI) with overlapping interests
• Draft policy proposals: figure out what specific issues PauseAI should be for or against
• Other projects specific to interest: writing, media outreach, etc.

At first, a new channel would be created for each Interest Group.
