We're almost completely running on volunteers at this point. That has its advantages (feels grassroots and legit, no weird jealousy between volunteers and paid people), but it also limits how much impact we can have.
What we need to professionalize
- #Funding for PauseAI : We don't have nearly enough money to have full time employees at this point. If we want 4+ FTE, we'll need some serious grant-writing efforts.
- #Legal entitiy / entities for PauseAI: We now have a UK entity and soon a US + NL entity too.
- Plan: see below

The Plans: Summit Pause Campaign
- Email campaign summit attendees / countries
- Open letter requesting treaty
- Organize & support protests, international ones during the two summits. Mostly takes effort.
- Social media campaign (maybe hire PR agency for this). This can get very expensive very quickly. I asked BlueSky
